If there was ever a person on this planet who was concerned with the mis-application of financial resources, it was Cherrie Carapetyan.
For Cherrie Carapetyan, it wasn't a matter of what one could afford, it was all about what does the most good. "Don't you realize how many starving children you could feed with that ?"
When we started to price out a reasonable approach to posting her obituary in the many cities where she left friends who would want to know (Austin, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta) and it ran into many thousands, we knew right then and there we would be getting into serious trouble with mom :) no matter what we could afford.
In deference to same, we took out a $10 domain name, hoping that everyone who will want to know will pass it around. What we do with savings is up for later discussion.
